at The Lantern English Co.
I was born and raised in a small town in New York, where I was fortunate to attend a school with many teachers who inspired and encouraged me. My mother, an avid reader, sought to instill a love a books from a very young age. English teachers throughout the years lead to a deepening appreciation of the English language and literature.
I received my Bachelors degree in Human Development in 2014, and worked with adults with disabilities for several years, focusing on community integration and employment skills. A technical writer at heart, I won a contest for the best research methods project my senior year of college.
I currently reside in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, with my husband, Alex, and toddler, Annaliese. When I'm not too busy being “Mama,” I enjoy good coffee, a cuddly cat, and a good book.
